Rishabh Wuppalapati, a bright undergraduate student from Vernon Hills, Illinois, is set to make his mark on the Jeopardy stage. Currently enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania, Rishabh is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Economics with a concentration in Computer Science. His academic background is impressive, having graduated from Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois, in 2023.

Beyond the classroom, Rishabh has honed his analytical skills through his coursework and extracurricular activities. His focus on economics, computer science, and data manipulation reflects a keen interest in both numbers and technology, setting the stage for an exciting future in these fields.

Professional Experience and Campus Involvement

While still a student, Rishabh has already gathered valuable professional experience. Since May 2024, he has been working as a Software Engineer Intern at Rxponential, where he contributes to Mergers & Acquisitions and LLM fine-tuning projects. He also interned at Gallagher Bassett from May to August 2024, focusing on data visualization and claims operations. These internships have provided him with hands-on experience in software engineering and data analysis, further strengthening his technical expertise.

On campus, Rishabh is deeply involved in several groups, including the Wharton Investment and Trading Group, Wharton Asia Investments, and the Penn Sports Analytics Group. His commitment to academic and extracurricular excellence is evident in his role as a Teaching Assistant for a statistics course and his active participation in various finance and trading organizations.

He won the national championship at the National History Bee and was a member of the winning team in the Science Bowl during his time at Daniel Wright Junior High School.
