He spent nearly a decade at Spectra Energy as a Gas Plant Operator, honing his expertise in gas processing and plant operations. Later, he transitioned to Devon Energy as a Production Operator before taking on a leadership role at Encana Corporation, where he worked as a Shift Lead – Control Room Operator.
With extensive experience in plant operations, gas processing, steam turbines, and petroleum, Stewart has built a strong career in the natural gas and power generation industries. His current position at Ovintiv reflects his continued growth and commitment to excellence in the field. Stewart’s career accomplishments are backed by a wide range of certifications, including his 2nd Class Power Engineer Certificate and Standard First Aid & CPR/AED certification, showcasing his well-rounded skill set.
A Well-Educated Competitor
Adam Stewart’s educational background is as impressive as his professional experience. After completing high school at Chetwynd Secondary School, he pursued Power Engineering at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
