Caryn Radick, a digital archivist based in Kendall Park, New Jersey, has made her mark in the world of libraries and archives. Currently serving as the Digital Archivist at Rutgers University Libraries, specifically within the Special Collections and University Archives at the New Brunswick campus, Caryn plays a key role in managing and preserving digital projects. One of her most notable achievements is her role as the principal investigator for the National Endowment for the Humanities National Digital Newspaper Program grant, a position she held from 2016 to 2023.
Caryn’s professional background reflects her deep connection to literature and information services. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from Dickinson College and followed this with a Master’s degree in Victorian Literature from the University of Nottingham. Her education continued with a Master’s of Library and Information Services from Rutgers University, solidifying her career in archiving and digital preservation.

Joining her in the competition are returning champion Eamonn Campbell, a lawyer originally from Manchester, Vermont, and Jack Swansey, a writer from Durham, North Carolina.
